Lead customer-facing Static Timing Analysis (STA) engagements for PrimeTime, supporting pre-sales evaluations, post-sales deployment, tape-out support, and training. Act as the technical advisor between customers, field teams, and R&D to drive adoption and product improvements.
Experience Level
Senior β experienced engineer with roughly 9β10+ years in ASIC/SoC design and timing analysis (Master's degree with 9+ years or Bachelor's with 10+ years as specified).
Responsibilities
Primary day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on technical work with customers and internal teams.
- Drive PrimeTime adoption via competitive benchmarks, proof-of-concepts, and technical win strategies.
- Deliver hands-on customer training on STA workflows, timing closure, process variation analysis, and signal integrity debugging.
- Provide tape-out support: troubleshoot timing violations, setup/hold issues, and corner-case scenarios in production designs.
- Collaborate with R&D to report field issues and translate customer requirements into product enhancements.
- Work with sales and field teams to communicate PrimeTime's technical advantages to design teams and management.
- Develop and refine TCL automation scripts and methodologies to improve customer productivity and timing closure efficiency.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Synopsys PrimeTime: running STA, interpreting timing reports, and debugging violations in real designs.
- Strong understanding of timing corners, process variation, OCV/AOCV, statistical STA, and signal integrity impacts on timing.
- Familiarity with digital design flow: synthesis, place-and-route, parasitic extraction, and ECO methodologies.
- Proficient TCL scripting skills for automation and flow customization.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers and management; prior customer-facing experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for training, support, and technical engagements.
