Senior Staff Silicon IP Program Manager
Role Summary
Lead program management for Silicon IP engagements: own customer relationships, delivery schedules, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination to deliver IP into customer SoCs. Work within the Silicon IP Program Management Office and collaborate globally with engineering, sales, and support teams.
Experience Level
Senior-level. The role specifies 10+ years of industry experience in program management or related engineering/program roles, ideally with SoC, analog, or digital design exposure.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing customer-facing IP programs and ensuring on-time delivery through cross-functional coordination.
- Act as the main customer contact for IP programs
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate global engineering, sales, and support teams
- Identify, track, and mitigate technical and schedule risks
- Report program status and progress to stakeholders and senior management
- Improve program management processes and establish best practices
- Mentor and coach program team members
Requirements

- 10+ years of industry experience in technical program management or related roles
- Proven technical program management experience in SoC, Analog, and/or Digital design areas
- Strong program management skills: planning, tracking, risk management, and delivery focus
- Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate distributed/global teams
- Organized, analytical, and proactive problem-solving approach
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Silicon IP delivery programs and driving IP adoption
- Prior mentoring or people-leadership responsibilities
Education Requirements
Requires a BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) or equivalent degree. The posting explicitly allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of the degree. The role also specifies 10+ years of industry experience.
