Senior Staff Program Manager (f/m/d)
Role Summary
Lead and deliver complex, multi-site automotive IC design programs. Responsible for program planning, budget, timelines, KPIs and cross-functional coordination across design, marketing, operations and external partners.
Ensure delivery to requirements and customer commitments through cross-functional leadership and structured program control.
Experience Level
Senior-level - requires 7+ years managing large, multi-disciplined global delivery teams and program management of complex IC design projects for automotive products.
Responsibilities
Accountable for end-to-end program delivery and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
- Own program budget, schedule, scope and KPIs; drive corrective actions to meet targets.
- Develop and maintain the overall program plan and define milestones; report status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform and maintain risk analysis with mitigation options and trigger dates.
- Organize regular program status meetings and prepare management and customer updates.
- Lead and align cross-functional teams across multiple locations (marketing, silicon/software design, IP procurement/insourcing, operations, test).
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and external contract resources.
Requirements
Core technical and program management requirements, separated into must-have and nice-to-have items.
- Must-have: 7+ years managing large, multi-disciplinary global delivery teams.
- Must-have: 7+ years program-managing complex IC design projects for automotive products; experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
- Must-have: Experience working with distributed satellite teams and with external suppliers/contractors.
- Must-have: Significant semiconductor/engineering experience with awareness of IC design and physical design, automotive IC requirements, embedded software design, and IC fabrication/assembly/test processes.
- Must-have: Technical acumen to assess technical issues within ROI and risk-management frameworks; strong commercial awareness and P&L responsibility.
- Must-have: Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing and presentation skills.
- Nice-to-have: Proven success achieving design-in with Tier 1 customers for wireless connectivity; prior account management or sales experience.
- Languages: English required; Dutch and/or German desirable.
Education Requirements
Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree (or similar) is desired. PMI or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
