Senior Staff Product Marketing Specialist

Role Summary

Owner of product strategy, roadmap, and business performance for a defined subset of the Entry Line 32-bit MCU portfolio (hardware and software). Partners with engineering, regional marketing, sales, FAEs, and operations to translate market and customer needs into product definitions, drive launches, and manage product lifecycle.

Reports to the Product Line Manager and is responsible for investment decisions, competitive benchmarking, pricing considerations, go-to-market collateral, and driving design-wins and revenue growth.

Experience Level

Senior - requires extensive experience. The posting specifies 8+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related industries and 5+ years in product management or product line management.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include defining strategy and coordinating cross-functional execution for product investments, roadmaps, and lifecycle activities.

• Develop high-ROI product investment strategies and define short- and long-term product roadmaps for an Entry Line MCU family.
• Translate customer and market requirements into product definitions and requirements; support architecture trade-offs with engineering.
• Build business cases for new product investments and derivative feature expansions.
• Coordinate with engineering on execution milestones and with operations on supply planning, cost reduction, and lifecycle transitions (PCNs, EOL).
• Partner with marketing on go-to-market strategies, launch collateral, and enablement materials for sales and FAEs.
• Engage deeply with key customers to align on roadmaps, support design-ins, and secure design-wins.
• Track competitive products and benchmark performance to inform investment and pricing decisions.

Requirements

Key must-have skills and experience; followed by a short list of preferred items.

• Must-have: 8+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related industries; 5+ years in product management or product line management.
• Experience in product management, strategic/technical marketing, business development, applications, supply chain management, or cost management.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V), embedded software ecosystems, and semiconductor cost/supply-chain dynamics.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, analytical and financial modeling skills, and documented track record of launching products and driving revenue/design-wins.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and work across multiple time zones.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with pricing strategy, benchmarking, or lifecycle management processes.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is specified. An MBA is noted as a plus.
