Role Summary
Lead hardware project management for SoC/MCU development from concept through mass production. Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, verification, software, manufacturing) to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality and KPI targets.

Responsibilities
Primary duties for this role include planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Plan and manage complex hardware projects across multiple departments and development phases (concept to production).
- Collaborate with design, verification, software, and manufacturing teams to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
- Define and manage project KPIs and report status to senior management and customers.
- Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks early.
- Drive productivity and process improvements in project management methods.
- Share best practices and mentor junior project managers and team members.
- Ensure timely, clear communication within the project team and to stakeholders.
Requirements
Core skills and demonstrated experience required or preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing hardware projects, particularly SoC/MCU development.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, complex hardware development programs.
- Strong understanding of MCU/SoC architecture, design, and verification processes.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-have: PMP or similar project management certification; ability to communicate in Japanese and English.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. PMP or similar project-management certification is listed as a plus. The posting does not state explicit language about equivalent practical experience.
