Job Title

Senior/Staff Engineer, Product Engineering (Media Health Manufacturing - HIG-HBM)

Role Summary

Lead a team responsible for intrinsic and extrinsic reliability test development and execution for HBM products (DRAM, interface die, stacked product). Drive DPM reduction, intrinsic reliability characterization, qualification and RMA resolution, and optimized manufacturing test flows to meet quality, cost, and cycle‑time KPIs.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, reliability development, and cross‑functional delivery:

  • Define and develop reliability stress tests, test flows, and qualification plans.
  • Manage qualification execution and resolve gating issues with Global Quality.
  • Reduce extrinsic (Time‑0 and field) and intrinsic DPM through optimized test strategies and manufacturing flows.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis of qual and RMA failures using electrical and physical failure analysis and drive corrective actions.
  • Recommend and support front‑end process conversions to improve yield, cost, reliability, and performance.
  • Assess and manage conversion risks with product managers; prioritize projects and make technical decisions on risk and scope.
  • Mentor and develop team members; promote continuous improvement and adoption of AI‑enabled enhancements.
  • Collaborate across Fab, Technology Development, Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.

Requirements

Must‑have technical skills, experience, and behaviors:

  • Exposure to semiconductor devices, circuit design, or product validation.
  • Familiarity with CMOS technology, DRAM architecture, and basic device physics.
  • Experience with data analysis, statistics, and scripting tools (for example Python or JMP).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills focused on root‑cause analysis.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality; accountable and able to take ownership.
  • Effective team collaboration skills and clear written and spoken English for technical communication.
  • Flexible, eager to learn, and able to work in a dynamic engineering environment.
  • Experience leading teams and driving manufacturing/test process improvements (expected for senior/staff level).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
