Role Summary
Lead design verification for SoC subsystems and drive verification activities from specification through tape-out. Work with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to ensure comprehensive verification coverage and quality.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership of verification efforts and hands-on development of verification environments and tests.
- Lead and execute block- and SoC-level verification plans across domains (CPU, DDR, multimedia, interconnects, security, peripherals, power).
- Develop and enhance testbenches and verification environments using automation.
- Drive DV closure using C, SystemVerilog, UVM-based tests.
- Lead SoC-level verification activities from specification phase to tape-out.
- Collaborate with architecture and design teams to identify and close specification gaps.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior verification engineers.
- Coordinate with pre- and post-silicon teams; use simulation, emulation, and formal tools to validate designs.
- Improve verification processes and tooling; perform complex debugging and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- 12+ years of SoC verification experience (must-have).
- Proficiency in C, SystemVerilog, UVM, and scripting languages (Python, Perl, or similar).
- Strong understanding of microarchitecture and SoC integration.
- Experience with simulation, emulation, and formal verification tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lead verification plans and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with low-power design verification and performance verification.
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI-assisted verification techniques.
Education Requirements
Degrees: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering/technical fields. Posting lists degree-plus-experience equivalence: Bachelor's + 3+ years, Master's + 2+ years, or PhD + 1+ year of relevant hardware engineering experience. Equivalent practical experience considered where noted.
