Senior Staff Engineer, Design Verification
Role Summary
Lead verification engineering for IP blocks within an AI accelerator platform on the AGI Computing Lab team. Work cross-functionally with architects, RTL designers, compiler and simulation engineers to define verification scope, develop testbenches and automation, and close verification quality metrics.
Position requires daily onsite presence at the San Jose, CA office.

Senior-level engineer. Role expects extensive industry experience (typically 10+ years) in SoC/IP verification and verification leadership.
Responsibilities
Core duties include driving verification strategy, infrastructure, and delivery for complex IP within an accelerator SoC.
- Develop and maintain verification infrastructure, automation for build, simulation, regression and triage workflows.
- Lead verification efforts for IP blocks; define verification scope and create functional and performance test plans.
- Design and implement directed and random testbenches (UVM/SystemVerilog) and close verification quality metrics.
- Document verification strategy and ensure test environments are maintainable and easy to use.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; provide technical leadership during debug and release cycles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, compiler and simulation teams to diagnose and resolve failures.
Requirements
