Senior Staff Digital Engineer
Role Summary
Full-time on-site senior engineer responsible for digital verification of complex IP and SoC designs. The role focuses on developing and maintaining UVM-based verification environments, defining and executing verification plans, debugging RTL issues, and collaborating with design, architecture, and firmware teams.

Senior - typically 12+ years of experience in digital verification and related semiconductor engineering roles.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include creating verification environments and ensuring design correctness through structured verification activities:
- Develop and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments and testbenches.
- Write and run directed and constrained-random test cases and build coverage models.
- Define verification plans from specifications and create verification scenarios.
- Execute regressions, monitor coverage metrics, and report results.
- Debug RTL failures, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with design teams.
- Improve verification methodologies and automate flows, including scripting for regression management.
- Participate in design and verification reviews and align verification activities with project schedules and quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional and multicultural teams.

- Must-have: 12+ years of experience in digital verification; strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM methodology, and constrained-random verification.
- Must-have: Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory hierarchies, bus protocols, and high-performance compute subsystems.
- Must-have: Proficiency with verification tools and flows (simulators, waveform viewers, coverage tools) and scripting (Python/Perl/Tcl) for regression and automation.
- Must-have: Effective communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with external teams and support business travel.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with formal verification techniques and tools to complement simulation-based verification.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in semiconductor product development for automotive, industrial, or embedded systems.
- Nice-to-have: Experience using AI tools to accelerate code development, debugging, and verification improvement.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
