Senior Staff CAD - ASIC Design Verification (Agentic Workflow)
Role Summary
Lead development of agentic AI workflows and CAD infrastructure to accelerate front-end ASIC design verification across Marvell Central Engineering. The role focuses on building automated verification flows, multi-agent orchestration, and integrations with EDA and simulation environments.
Work cross-functionally with design, DV, CAD, and methodology teams to measure and improve verification productivity through AI-driven automation and scalable infrastructure.
Experience Level
Senior - the posting requests 4+ years of ASIC design verification experience and expects technical leadership in CAD and verification automation.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include developing agentic verification workflows and integrating AI assistants into verification toolchains.
- Design and deploy agentic workflows for ASIC verification tasks (regression automation, failure triage, root-cause identification).
- Automate test and assertion generation, UVM code creation, and coverage-closure analysis.
- Build AI agents that interact with EDA tools, simulators, emulators, and verification databases.
- Integrate LLM-based assistants and orchestrate multi-agent collaboration and tool calls.
- Develop scalable infrastructure for agent orchestration and workflow orchestration.
- Collaborate with design, DV, CAD, and methodology teams to operationalize workflows and measure productivity gains.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and domain experience.
- 4+ years of ASIC design verification experience, with deep understanding of SoC/IP verification methodologies.
- Expertise in SystemVerilog UVM, Assertions (SVA), functional coverage, and constrained-random verification.
- Experience with simulation-based verification, formal verification, and emulation/FPGA prototyping.
- Experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI workflow orchestration.
- Familiarity with multi-agent systems, autonomous planning/execution, and tool calling/function orchestration.
- Experience with industry EDA tools (VCS/Verdi, Xcelium/Jasper, Siemens Questa) and coverage/regression management tools.
- Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, Perl, Tcl, or similar).
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is specified.
