Job Title

Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and deliver high-speed Die-to-Die (D2D) transceiver IP for chiplet interconnects. Lead architecture, analog circuit design, and PHY-level layout coordination to meet power, area, and performance targets for production silicon. Mentor engineers and represent technical results to customers and industry forums.

Experience Level

Senior-level — requires 8+ years of analog circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define transceiver architectures and sub-block specifications based on UCIe and other D2D standards.
  • Design analog circuits for high-speed D2D interconnect IP (clock recovery, equalization, bias blocks).
  • Perform system modeling, margin analysis, and jitter budgeting to validate robustness.
  • Oversee PHY-level layout to minimize parasitics and process-variation impact.
  • Analyze post-silicon data and drive design enhancements.
  • Present technical results to internal teams, customers, and industry groups.
  • Mentor and conduct technical reviews for a distributed global design team.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of hands-on analog circuit design experience (senior-level engineering).
  • Expertise in high-speed transceiver design, including SerDes or D2D interfaces.
  • Strong system modeling skills, including jitter analysis and margin budgeting.
  • Proven track record taking circuits from architecture through post-silicon validation.
  • Familiarity with D2D interface standards such as UCIe or PCIe.
  • Experience collaborating across distributed, cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (as stated). No explicit alternate "equivalent experience" language was provided.
