Responsibilities

Primary tasks and deliverables for the role:

  • Design high-quality SRAM circuits using state-of-the-art process technologies.
  • Optimize designs for performance, area, and power trade-offs.
  • Collaborate with mask and layout designers to produce dense, pitch-matched layouts.
  • Verify functionality, electrical integrity, and robustness of SRAM macros.
  • Develop and improve flows, automation, and data-analysis methods to streamline design and ensure working silicon.

Requirements

Essential qualifications (degrees are listed under Education Requirements).

  • Minimum 12 years of circuit design experience.
  • Deep knowledge of SRAM and memory design techniques and macro/block development.
  • Proven experience optimizing circuits for performance, area, and power.
  • Experience collaborating on layout and mask design and addressing electrical robustness.
  • Experience verifying functionality and electrical integrity of memory designs.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso for schematic/layout, SPICE simulators, and waveform viewers.
  • Experience with static timing analysis (STA), EM/IR analysis, and formal functional verification.
  • Scripting and automation experience (Perl, Python, Shell) and familiarity with Verilog.
