Job Title

Senior SRAM Circuit Design Engineer

Role Summary

Senior engineer responsible for transistor-level SRAM circuit design, SRAM compiler development, and enabling SOC integration and productization. The role sits in NVIDIA's Digital IP group and works closely with SoC design, silicon test, layout, and product teams.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 8+ years of relevant SRAM and digital circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include SRAM design, automation, and cross-functional support:

  • Design and validate embedded SRAM macros at the transistor level, including sense amplifiers and self-timed logic.
  • Oversee and coordinate layout implementation, physical verification (DRC/LVS) and macro debugging.
  • Develop and improve SRAM compiler automation to assemble and validate multiple unique macros efficiently.
  • Research and develop techniques for advanced process nodes to optimize power, performance, and area.
  • Collaborate with SoC design, silicon test, and productization teams to guide characterization and prepare IP for production use.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; candidates with complementary skills are preferred.

  • 8+ years of SRAM design experience with strong background in digital circuit design, layout, and validation on advanced FinFET and nanosheet processes.
  • Prior design experience with single-port, dual-port, or register-file SRAM-based macros, including complex circuits such as sense amplifiers and self-timed logic.
  • Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout capture tools.
  • Proven track record of delivering silicon IP into production.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with AI-assisted coding/analysis tools for automation and silicon testing/debug experience.

Education Requirements

BSEE minimum (or equivalent practical experience). MSEE or PhD preferred.
