Senior Software Infrastructure Developer
Role Summary
Design and develop backend services and tooling infrastructure that support test execution, management, and reporting for next-generation networking validation. Work with the System Product Engineering team to deliver scalable, automated validation systems used by test and validation teams.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 5+ years of software development experience in infrastructure or tooling roles.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building and maintaining infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD integration to streamline validation workflows.
- Design and implement backend services for test execution, management, and reporting across multiple platforms and teams.
- Develop automation tools, pipelines, and interfaces to streamline validation workflows and data handling.
- Integrate validation processes and services with CI/CD systems.
- Collaborate with validation engineers to translate testing needs into reliable, scalable software solutions.
- Improve system reliability, maintainability, and observability of infrastructure components.
- Support version control and deployment practices used by validation teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience, plus desirable qualifications.
Must-have
- 5+ years of software development experience in infrastructure or tooling roles.
- Proficiency in Python and Java; familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or React.
- Experience with database design and usage.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and system services.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; experience with version control systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have
- Experience building internal tools or platforms for validation or QA teams.
- Background in system architecture for test execution, including resource management and scheduling.
- Understanding of hardware validation pipelines or embedded systems testing.
Education Requirements
