Senior Software Engineer, Test Infrastructure Development
Role Summary
Join the Test Solutions Group to develop infrastructure software and manufacturing test solutions for NVIDIA datacenter and enterprise system products. Build internal tools, modern web platforms, and AI-assisted workflows to improve diagnostic development, test automation, and manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with hardware design, test engineering, product engineering, and software teams to enable next-generation GPU and CPU-based server products.

Responsibilities
Deliver scalable platforms and tools to automate diagnostics, testing, and release workflows.
- Design and implement IDEs and platforms for diagnostic creation, verification, validation, and release.
- Develop universal test frameworks to standardize diagnostic structures, workflows, metadata, and release processes.
- Implement and maintain diagnostic management systems to optimize and automate release processes for boards and systems.
- Design and integrate AI-assisted tools for search, code generation, documentation assistance, log analysis, test result summarization, workflow automation, and troubleshooting.
- Apply modern AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, agents, function calling, semantic search, workflow orchestration) to infrastructure platforms.
- Work closely with test development, product development, software engineering, and operations teams to solve infrastructure, security, automation, and deployment challenges.
- Evaluate and adopt new AI tools, frameworks, and development practices to improve software delivery and manufacturing support workflows.
Requirements

- Strong full-stack development skills across frontend, backend, databases, deployment, and system integration.
- Expert Python programming and practical bash scripting experience.
- Database design and optimization: schema design, efficient queries, understanding execution plans, and effective indexing.
- Frontend familiarity: JavaScript, React, CSS, HTML; experience with yarn or npm.
- Authentication and security fundamentals: NTLM, OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, and secure API design.
- Familiarity with documentation, testing, code review, CI/CD, containerization, and reliable production deployment.
- Hands-on use of AI tools to improve developer productivity (coding assistants, AI-based debugging, documentation or test generation, workflow automation).
- Practical understanding of AI application development: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, AI agents, tool/function calling, and model evaluation.
- Ability to collaborate across hardware, test, software, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Nice-to-have:
- Experience with manufacturing test, hardware diagnostics, lab automation, or product validation.
- Experience building AI-powered internal tools, chatbots, agents, or developer productivity platforms.
- Experience integrating enterprise data sources, internal APIs, documentation systems, logs, or test databases into AI workflows.
- Experience with vector search, embeddings, RAG pipelines, LangChain/LlamaIndex-style frameworks, or custom AI orchestration services.
Education Requirements
