Role Summary
Develop software and automation for SoC design and build flows to improve speed, reliability, and developer productivity. Work on design methodology, tooling, and co-development with EDA vendors to remove bottlenecks in ASIC/SoC development. Collaborate with RTL, integration, and verification engineers on cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building and maintaining tools, automation, and methodologies that accelerate SoC design and project execution.
- Design and implement software to automate SoC design and build flows.
- Develop new methodologies and tools aimed at increasing ASIC design throughput.
- Partner with design and verification teams to support project execution and resolve workflow gaps.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors to co-develop and integrate tool capabilities.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and relevant experience; preferred items are noted.
- Must-have: 3+ years EDA tool development experience in ASIC/SoC design.
- Hands-on ASIC or SoC design and verification experience.
- Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Perl, or Tcl.
- Solid understanding of computer algorithms and data structures.
- Preferred: SoC integration experience (IP connectivity, clock/reset automation, top-level flow).
- Familiarity with Synopsys Fusion Compiler or similar next-generation design tools.
- Experience using agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) in development.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science — or equivalent practical experience.
