Role Summary
Develop and maintain high-performance profiling and benchmarking tools that exercise hardware interfaces and subsystems to detect performance issues early in bring-up. Work on server-based systems and collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, systems architecture, and product teams to deliver integrated tooling solutions.

Senior; guidance: 5+ years of professional or academic experience in relevant software/hardware domains.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on building, validating, and supporting tooling used to characterize system performance across configurations.
- Design and implement robust benchmarking and profiling tools for hardware interfaces and subsystems.
- Create targeted kernels and micro-benchmarks to isolate performance behavior across platforms.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, product, system architects) to integrate tools into development workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines for tooling.
- Debug and optimize software to improve tooling accuracy and performance.
- Participate in occasional travel to collaborate with internal and external developers.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.

- Experience applying performance benchmarks at internet scale and writing targeted micro-benchmarks.
Education Requirements
