Role Summary

Join the NIC Firmware Core team to design and implement simulation and verification infrastructure for NVIDIA network adapters. The role focuses on C++ object‑oriented simulation, verification frameworks and C layer interfaces between hardware and firmware.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop a network adapter simulator used for pre-silicon development and testing.
• Implement and integrate design and verification frameworks for both real-time and simulated environments.
• Address automation and performance challenges in tooling and flows.
• Collaborate with chip design, software, firmware and architecture teams to define firmware flows.
• Lead feature development and take ownership from design through delivery.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience with verification and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Strong understanding of the Linux operating system and computer architecture.
• Ability to work across disciplines (chip design, verification, firmware, software, architecture).
• Proven ability to lead feature development and own deliverables end-to-end.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and self-learning skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in simulator development for real-time systems.
• Embedded C programming background.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and scripting languages.
• Experience with verification frameworks and simulation tooling.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (as specified in the posting).
