Senior Software Engineer - NIC and Switch Simulation
Role Summary
Join the Simulation development team to design and implement NIC and switch simulation features used by software R&D and architects. The role involves building virtualization-based networking simulation and working closely with SW R&D, architects, chip design and firmware teams to deliver production-ready features.

Senior — requires 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement advanced switch and NIC simulation features.
- Develop solutions using virtualization technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable C/C++ code.
- Debug, analyze, and resolve complex system and simulation issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SW R&D, architects, chip design, and firmware teams.
- Own features end-to-end from design through delivery.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience.
- Proficient in C and C++.
- Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to take full ownership and deliver end-to-end.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: understanding of networking protocols (Ethernet, InfiniBand).
- Preferred: experience with virtualization technologies (KVM/QEMU).
- Preferred: experience with Linux or Windows kernel and driver development.
- Preferred: ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
