Senior Software Engineer (Aprisa)

Role Summary

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include research, software development, integration, and evaluation of AI-driven PPA optimizations.

  • Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to optimize PPA metrics in chip design.
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing EDA tools and optimization frameworks.
  • Conduct research on advanced AI techniques applicable to semiconductor design optimization.
  • Evaluate and benchmark AI-enabled optimization solutions against traditional methods.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, software developers, and data scientists on cross-functional projects.
  • Produce user documentation and contribute to research publications or patents.

Requirements

Required technical skills and experience for immediate contribution to the Aprisa R&D team.

Must-have

  • Approximately 4 years proven experience in EDA, semiconductor design, or optimization.
  • Solid understanding of PPA optimization concepts and semiconductor design challenges.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ (or similar programming languages).
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Understanding of chip design flow and design automation tools.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

  • Experience applying AI/ML in the EDA or semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge of optimization algorithms and related techniques.
  • Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools or comparable platforms.
  • Published research, patents, or experience with large-scale data processing.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is specified; a Master's degree is preferred. Fields mentioned: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
