Work with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, maintain existing tools, support new products, and address customer technical needs.
Experience Level
Senior level. The posting specifies 2+ years of EDA/place-and-route development experience; practical experience in place-and-route engines for FPGA or ASIC domains is required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities center on place-and-route engine development, quality improvement, and product support.
- Develop and enhance place-and-route features and capabilities.
- Optimize QoR metrics: performance, area, runtime, and memory utilization.
- Integrate and support new FPGA products and architecture-specific adaptations.
- Create and maintain unit tests to validate implementations and ensure high quality.
- Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide technical support for customer issues when required.
Requirements
Key technical requirements and preferred skills.
- Must-have: Proficient in C/C++, data structures, graph algorithms, and shell scripting.
- Must-have: Experience in place-and-route engine development in FPGA or ASIC domains.
- Must-have: Strong software engineering fundamentals, including algorithm design and unit testing.
