Role Summary
Design and deliver complex ASIC subsystems and related high-speed mixed-signal/digital boards, from functional specification through implementation and verification. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate SoC subsystems for mobile, networking, computing, and consumer products.

Responsibilities
Accountable for architecture, RTL design, implementation, verification, and board-level work required to bring ASIC products to production.
- Plan and perform digital architecture and Verilog RTL design for ASIC subsystems.
- Implement and verify designs through integration and delivery to product.
- Investigate solutions and evaluate architecture proposals for concept designs.
- Design and review high-speed digital and mixed-signal PCBs: requirements, schematic capture, component placement, layout review, production and verification.
- Perform component evaluation, circuit optimization, unit-level testing and circuit-level debug.
- Support setup and execution of complex tests and component evaluations for baseband and other designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute verification and validation for SoC integration.
- Contribute to design reviews and prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing test data and findings.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Proven Verilog RTL coding and digital architecture experience for ASIC design.
- Experience implementing and verifying complex ASICs from specification to product.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed digital and mixed-signal board design and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience in component evaluation, circuit optimization, unit testing and debugging.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on SoC integration and verification activities.
- Ability to compile test data into technical reports and present findings to engineering teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with mobile wireless standards, baseband designs, or related protocols in networking/consumer markets.
Education Requirements
Will accept a Master's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree field.
