Role Summary
Join the Networking Chip Design team to design and integrate next-generation DPUs and switch SoCs. The role focuses on system-level integration, defining project milestones, and delivering subsystem/SOC models for verification and emulation.

Senior — typically 3+ years of semiconductor SoC design and architecture experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include system-level definition, integration, and cross-functional delivery of SoC projects.
- Define project milestones, assign tasks, and track progress within an agile framework.
- Develop system-level methodologies, tools, and IP to build subsystems efficiently and at scale.
- Integrate subsystem components and deliver models for cluster/subsystem/SOC verification and emulation.
- Coordinate with SOC Assembly and cross-functional teams to meet SOC milestones.
- Collaborate with software teams to define HW/SW interfaces including control/status registers, interrupts, and error handling.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for this role:
- 3+ years practical semiconductor design and architecture experience building complex SoCs.
- Hands-on experience across SOC development phases: ASIC architecture, micro-architecture, RTL design, verification, timing closure, and physical design.
- Experience with hardware description and verification tools (Verilog/SystemVerilog or equivalent; Cadence or equivalent simulation tools); familiarity with debug tools such as Indago or GDB.
- Proven participation in multiple successful tape-outs of advanced-node, high-volume SoCs.
- Experience defining HW/SW interfaces with software teams (registers, interrupts, error handling).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-have:
- Technical leadership or chip-lead experience delivering complex SoCs.
- RTL coding and debug, and performance/power/area analysis and trade-offs.
- Experience with synthesis, DFT, physical design optimization, or design automation.
- Experience with smartNICs or high-speed interconnects.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, C/C++, Perl).
Education Requirements
BS or MS in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience; the posting indicates 3+ years of semiconductor design experience is expected.
