Job Title

Senior Signal Processing Engineer

Role Summary

Develop signal-processing and AI/ML algorithms and firmware for high-performance mixed-signal transceiver SoCs used in wireless, wireline and sensing applications. Work with a cross-functional team through specification, algorithm design, system modeling, firmware implementation and silicon validation.

Contribute to architecture, performance optimization, fixed-/floating-point design and bringing products from concept to volume production.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop signal-processing and AI/ML algorithms for wireless, wireline and sensing systems.
  • Create specifications, perform module/algorithm design and define hardware–firmware partitioning.
  • Develop system models, perform analysis and optimize performance and power.
  • Architect and implement firmware; perform floating-point and fixed-point design and optimization.
  • Validate and debug algorithms and firmware on silicon; define and run tests.
  • Support mixed-signal SoC development from concept through volume production.

Requirements

Core qualifications and skills required and preferred.

Must-have

  • 3+ years of experience in signal processing.
  • Strong fundamentals in signal processing, communications and systems.
  • Proficient programming skills with in-depth knowledge of MATLAB, Python and C.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse, fast-paced teams.

Nice-to-have

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience ramping up quickly on new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated initiative, time management and track record of delivering results.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Communication Engineering (the posting lists Bachelor's or Master's degree; degree level noted as Bachelor's Degree).
