The engineer will work with design, validation, and software teams to execute integration plans, characterize performance, and close complex hardware-software issues.
Experience Level
Senior — 8–12 years of industry experience in wireless communication systems or related RF work.
Responsibilities
Lead integration and validation activities across pre- and post-silicon phases.
- Lead and execute integration tasks for advanced wireless connectivity silicon.
- Perform RF bring-up, measurements, tuning and performance characterization for Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth circuits.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and validation frameworks (C# used in environment).
- Run and debug pre-silicon logic simulations in Unix environments per design definitions.
- Define hardware requirements for engineering boards and test setups.
- Perform post-silicon validation, system characterization and complex debug across RF and digital domains.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute to process improvements to accelerate development cycles.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
- Demonstrated practical RF engineering skills: measurements, antennas, modulation, filters, S-parameters.
- Proven experience in test automation programming and tool development.
- Hands-on experience with pre-silicon simulation workflows and Unix-based tooling.
- Experience with post-silicon validation, system characterization and hardware/software debug.
- Strong communication and teamwork; high-level technical English (spoken and written).
Nice-to-have
- Experience with C# for automation and tool development.
- Familiarity with Intel Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth silicon or similar RF modules.
- Experience with Excel, Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB and data analysis tools (Spotfire or similar).
