Develop and maintain reusable real-time test sequences and infrastructure for PXI-based HIL environments using National Instruments tools. Work with test developers and stakeholders to integrate restbus simulations and AUTOSAR validation into reliable real-time test systems.
Position is based in Brno and contributes to test infrastructure, KPI measurement, and verification workflows for embedded control units.
Experience Level
Senior. No explicit years-of-experience stated.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include building, validating, and supporting real-time test modules and ensuring integration with hardware and communication simulations.
- Design, implement, and maintain reusable TestStand sequences and building blocks for KPI measurement and functional validation.
- Develop and optimize LabVIEW and LabVIEW FPGA components for real-time control and data acquisition.
- Deploy and troubleshoot real-time systems in PXI-based HIL environments to ensure robust operation.
- Develop and integrate restbus simulation models for CAN, LIN, and Ethernet to support ECU testing.
- Implement and validate test sequences for AUTOSAR-based control units in real-time environments.
- Document technical specifications, usage guidelines, and best practices for test modules.
- Support and mentor junior test developers and participate in architecture and planning discussions to improve test infrastructure.
Requirements
Core technical and professional requirements. Degree and certification mentions have been moved to the Education Requirements section below.

- Proficiency in NI LabVIEW and LabVIEW FPGA for real-time control and automation (must-have).
- Experience with NI VeriStand and PXI hardware platforms, including DAQ module configuration and troubleshooting (must-have).
- Experience with HIL testing methodologies and FPGA-based test system integration (must-have).
- Practical experience implementing restbus simulations for CAN, LIN, and Ethernet (must-have).
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and testing approaches (must-have).
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices: modular design, version control (Git), and CI pipelines (must-have).
- Strong debugging, analytical, documentation, and communication skills for distributed teams (must-have).
- Ability to work on security-related tasks and comply with security certification processes as required (must-have).
- Valid visa and work permit to work in the Czech Republic (must-have).
- Experience in automotive or semiconductor industries and prior work with embedded systems testing (nice-to-have).
Education Requirements
Desired: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field. Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or Certified TestStand Developer credentials are listed as highly desirable. The posting did not state alternative "equivalent experience" language for degrees; certifications and a relevant technical degree are preferred.
