Senior Quality & Reliability Assurance Engineer
Role Summary
Join Global Quality as a Quality & Reliability Assurance (QRA) engineer supporting NVM (3D NAND) products. The role performs electrical failure analysis and data analysis, develops outgoing monitor plans for high-volume manufacturing (HVM), and manages deviation risk assessment and product disposition.
Experience Level
Senior. Micron prefers candidates with semiconductor industry experience; the posting notes at least 3 years in QA or product engineering is preferred.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver release documentation after qualification and implement monitor plans for HVM product quality and reliability.
- Perform product failure analysis to identify failure modes and mechanisms and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Analyze post-qualification quality and reliability issues and support material disposition decisions.
- Coordinate with R&D and Product Engineering to investigate new reliability issues, design tests, and assess customer risk and reliability impact.
- Manage deviation reporting, perform risk assessments, and support product disposition in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

- Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams and handling pressure professionally.
- Baseline digital fluency and AI literacy: able to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for research, analysis, content creation, and operational tasks.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and product disposition processes in HVM environments.
- Nice-to-have: Semiconductor QA or product engineering experience (3+ years preferred); practical failure analysis experience; familiarity with 3D NAND memory device reliability.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
