Role Summary

Senior QA Engineer on the ITPE Test/Software Development team responsible for ensuring quality of test frameworks, core libraries, and engineering tools for optical transceivers and interconnect products. The role focuses on making frameworks and tools stable, reliable, and production-ready.

You will work with cross-functional teams (NPI, MP, data intelligence, R&D) to integrate QA into development and CI/CD workflows.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum of 8 years of experience in software QA/SDET roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on QA strategy, automated pipelines, regression prevention, and cross-team collaboration.

• Define and own QA strategy, test plans, and quality standards for testing platforms, libraries, and utilities.
• Build and maintain automated test pipelines; integrate quality gates into CI/CD workflows.
• Maintain regression suites to detect breakages as frameworks evolve.
• Develop test fixtures, mocks, and simulators for isolated testing.
• Track quality metrics and generate summary reports of testing activities.
• Collaborate with NPI, MP, data intelligence, and R&D teams on testability and quality issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience. Equivalent practical experience is considered (see Education Requirements).

• Must-have: At least 8 years in software QA/SDET roles.
• Strong C# programming skills.
• Deep experience with test automation frameworks (unit testing, mocking).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies, test design, bug prioritization, and software release workflows.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in networking or the semiconductor domain.
• Experience testing data pipelines, CLI tools, or web-based dashboards.
• Background in TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience is explicitly considered.
