Senior Program Manager, PMO
Role Summary
Senior Program Manager in Micron's Program Management Organization (PMO) responsible for managing NAND, mNAND and SSD product programs from planning through qualification and ramp. The role directs cross-functional Product Development Teams (PDTs) to meet targets for schedule, quality, cost, manufacturing readiness and budget.
Experience Level
Senior role. Requires program management experience plus semiconductor engineering experience: the posting requests 3+ years of Program Management experience and 5+ years in semiconductor engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
The role leads product programs and coordinates cross-functional stakeholders to deliver product development and ramp.
- Establish and direct cross-functional Product Development Teams for NPI and mature products.
- Capture and translate product requirements in collaboration with Business Unit representatives.
- Define, maintain and track program milestones, schedules, KPIs and status.
- Identify, assess and mitigate program risk; manage and resolve escalations.
- Coordinate sample delivery plans with Supply Chain for engineering and qualification samples.
- Drive product qualification, ramp and hand-off to Manufacturing/Supply Chain; participate in stage gate reviews.
- Manage change requests and ensure timely problem resolution across engineering, R&D and BU.
- Provide regular program reporting to stakeholders and management.
- Foster continuous improvement, run lessons-learned workshops and improve program processes.
- Maintain effective global communication and stakeholder alignment.

Must-have: 3+ years of Program Management experience in a similar function.

Must-have: 5+ years of experience in semiconductor engineering or an equivalent technical field.

Must-have: Strong knowledge of project and program management fundamentals, tools and techniques.

Must-have: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional global teams and drive projects to delivery.

Must-have: Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and data-analysis skills.

Must-have: Proficiency in using AI tools to enable and accelerate workflows and tasks.

Must-have: Ability to travel internationally when required and to adjust working hours to overlap U.S. time zones on a project basis.

Nice-to-have: Prior experience with memory/storage product development (Flash, mNAND, SSD).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
