Senior Product & Test Engineer (PE/TE)

Role Summary

Support manufacturing and product/test engineering activities for semiconductor products at the Bayan Lepas manufacturing team. Main duties include yield and failure analysis, test development, NPI support, and product/process qualification.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test efficiency, resolve customer returns, and lead cost and quality improvement projects.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry experience; prior experience as a Product Engineer or Test Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Perform yield analysis, failure analysis (FA) and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing quality.
• Develop and optimize test programs and test hardware; reduce test time and improve throughput.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and product/process qualification activities.
• Evaluate customer returns (RMA), perform ATE and bench analyses for fault isolation, and prepare 8D corrective action reports.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives related to test and product processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a semiconductor environment in product or test engineering roles.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and take initiative.
• Hands-on experience with failure analysis, test program development, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ATE platforms (Advantest V93K, Teradyne) or proficiency in relevant programming languages — preferred.
