Senior Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - Optical Engine Architecture
Xscape PhotonicsJob Title
Senior Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - Optical Engine Architecture
Role Summary
Lead the product lifecycle and roadmap for optical engine architecture targeting high-speed GPU-to-GPU and GPU-to-memory links. Drive MRD/PRD development, early sampling engagements, pilot customer adoption, and alignment of product cost, power, and performance with industry OCI-MSA standards.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 10+ years of product management or technical marketing experience in semiconductor, photonics, or optical networking.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define product roadmap and author Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that address bandwidth and interface bottlenecks.
- Manage product lifecycle from early sampling to pilot customer adoption and commercial readiness.
- Develop business cases and align cost, power, and performance targets to OCI-MSA standards.
- Translate MRDs into detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with engineering leadership, including link architects.
- Position the product against legacy technologies and communicate differentiated value to customers.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and OSAT/supply-chain partners for 2.5D integration and co-packaged optics readiness.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 10+ years of product management or technical marketing experience in semiconductor, photonics, or optical networking.
- Proven commercial understanding of high-speed Optical Links, Optical Engines, and OCI-MSA architectures.
- Strong technical communication skills and ability to work tightly with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience managing early sampling programs and driving pilot customer engagements toward adoption.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior product leadership at tier-1 semiconductor or networking companies (e.g., Intel, Broadcom, Marvell, Cisco).
- Experience with OSAT partners, supply-chain readiness, 2.5D integration, or co-packaged optical systems.
- Ability to translate optoelectronic performance (e.g., 800Gβ1.6T+ per lane) into clear customer value propositions.
Education Requirements
Not specified.
