Role Summary

Senior Product Engineer on NVIDIA's transceivers product team focused on End-to-End High-Speed Ethernet and InfiniBand solutions for data centers. The role centers on identifying, reproducing, and resolving networking and hardware issues through data analysis, lab debugging, and cross-functional collaboration.

Work is data-driven and multidisciplinary: you will design experiments, analyze multi-test datasets, and coordinate with application engineers, firmware developers, and solution architects to improve product quality and performance.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires at least 8+ years of relevant experience in data-driven debugging and product engineering.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze networking failures and correlate multi-test data to identify root causes.
  • Design and execute engineering experiments to reproduce, screen, and resolve product issues.
  • Perform lab debugging and validate solutions through test and measurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (application engineers, firmware developers, solution architects) to resolve complex problems.
  • Develop and deliver timely, accurate technical reports on findings and corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback to Test Houses and refine product screening and verification processes.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of proven experience performing debugging and root-cause analysis using data.
  • Strong statistics and data analysis experience; practical use of tools such as JMP and Python.
  • Proven ability to apply AI/ML techniques to accelerate analysis and produce efficient results.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities; able to work under stress and early hours to coordinate with partners.
  • Experience with lab debugging, test data correlation, and producing actionable technical reports.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with optical networking and physical Layer 1 verification.
  • Experience analyzing very large-scale datasets.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
