Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's transceivers product team within Networking to drive product quality, performance, and innovation for high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand solutions used in data center products.

The role focuses on data-driven debugging, engineering experiments, lab debugging, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to identify root causes and deliver robust product solutions.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities include troubleshooting, experiment design, cross-team collaboration, and reporting.

  • Analyze networking failures and correlate multi-test data to determine root causes.
  • Design and execute engineering experiments to reproduce, screen, and resolve product issues.
  • Perform lab debugging and validate fixes across relevant test environments.
  • Collaborate with application engineers, solution architects, and firmware developers to address complex problems.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve product quality and performance.
  • Produce timely, accurate reports on findings and recommended actions.
  • Provide feedback to optimize test-house screening and production screening processes.

Requirements

Core qualifications and practical skills required for successful performance in this role.

  • Minimum ~8 years of proven experience in data-driven debugging and failure analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Strong statistics and data analysis experience; familiarity with JMP and Python.
  • Proven ability to use AI/machine learning tools to accelerate analysis and produce efficient results.
  • Comfortable working early hours when collaborating with global partners; able to multitask.
  • Ability to work effectively under stress and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication for clear reporting of technical findings.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with optical networking and physical layer (PHY) 1 verification.
  • Experience analyzing and extracting insight from very large-scale datasets.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Base salary ranges provided by location and level: USD 168,000–264,500 (Level 4) and USD 196,000–310,500 (Level 5). Eligible for equity and benefits.
