Job Title

Senior Product Engineer

Role Summary

Support technical readiness, manufacturability, and quality of digital multiphase controller power products through New Product Introduction (NPI) and production. Work cross-functionally with design, test, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet product performance, cost, and schedule targets.

Experience Level

Senior — the role specifies 3+ years of relevant semiconductor product-engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include activities across NPI and production to ensure product readiness and field quality.

  • Support product engineering during NPI and production phases, including product bring-up and silicon readiness.
  • Perform characterization and contribute to product specifications, limits, and guard-bands.
  • Lead or support yield analysis, parametric trend monitoring, and root-cause investigations.
  • Drive cost, yield, and cycle-time improvements using data-driven analysis.
  • Support manufacturing release, product change management (PCNs), and qualification activities.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for product issues, customer returns, and customer-facing technical topics as needed.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering on failure analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

  • Must-have: 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering (experience in test or design considered).
  • Must-have: Working knowledge of semiconductor power products, including digital power controllers and power stages.
  • Must-have: Strong data analysis skills (JMP, Python, MATLAB, or similar).
  • Must-have: Practical exposure to the new product development process and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must-have: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage in technical discussions with internal teams and customers.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience driving yield/cost improvements, parametric monitoring, and manufacturing release/qualification activities.
  • Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with failure analysis, PCNs, and customer technical support.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
