Responsibilities
The role requires direct customer interaction, technical analysis, and cross-functional coordination. Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with customers to identify and prioritize high-value problems, especially around power, performance, area (PPA) and multi-physics design closure.
- Analyze market and technology trends to inform the product roadmap for digital implementation and SCA tools.
- Collaborate with DRIs, field teams, and partners to identify product gaps and opportunities for tool enhancements.
- Define and prioritize roadmaps via Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and contribute to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
- Develop code prototypes and "executable specifications" to demonstrate new features and requirements to engineering teams.
- Manage release readiness criteria for Alpha, Beta, Limited Customer Availability (LCA), and General Availability (GA) stages.
- Enable field and partner teams with training, benchmarks, and go-to-market materials.
- Represent Synopsys as a subject-matter expert at customer forums and industry conferences.
Requirements
Essential technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role:
- Deep technical expertise in EDA tools, with emphasis on synthesis, RTL architecture, place-and-route and ECO methodologies (must-have).
- Strong software coding skills to build prototypes and executable specifications (must-have).
