Senior/Product Engineer, Advanced Data Analytics — Heterogeneous Integration Group (HBM Product Engineering)
Role Summary
Lead and develop a team within HIG HBM Product Engineering to apply advanced data analytics, machine learning, and AI to improve yield, quality, and reliability for High Bandwidth Memory products. Collaborate across engineering, fab, design, and quality teams to deploy models, build data infrastructure, and drive KPI improvements in cost, cycle time, and scale.

Responsibilities
The role focuses on analytics-driven yield and quality improvement, model development, infrastructure, and team leadership.
- Own cumulative yield initiatives across cross-functional teams to improve yield and product quality.
- Perform engineering data analysis using statistical methods, machine learning, and AI; integrate improvements into disposition workflows.
- Develop machine learning and deep learning models for pattern recognition, wafer/die-level screening, and reliability analysis.
- Design and enhance data pipelines and infrastructure in collaboration with IT, Manufacturing, and Operations; leverage cloud technologies.
- Mentor and develop team members; build a high-performing analytics team.
- Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.
- Promote technical innovation and drive changes that provide competitive advantage.
- Advocate for and deploy AI/ML solutions to improve KPIs such as quality, cost, cycle time, and scale.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional competencies.
- Proficient in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning using frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as JMP, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
- Proven track record solving complex engineering or business problems with data-driven approaches.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and flexibility in dynamic environments.
- Nice-to-have: experience in Micron product engineering or the semiconductor industry; familiarity with web application languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
