Senior Product Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for managing NVIDIA Interconnect products (AOC/transceivers), ensuring product engineering implementation, yield, and quality across development and manufacturing. This role works with hardware build, validation, software, and manufacturing partners to drive scalable production and resolve failures.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 5+ years of product development experience, with specific experience in AOC/transceivers preferred.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage product engineering and life-cycle for NVIDIA interconnect products.
- Drive product yield management and coordinate methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
- Implement product change control and build management; diagnose and resolve product failures.
- Supervise quality and yield targets and take corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and grow manufacturing partners' capabilities, focusing on scalability and yield reporting.
- Collaborate across sites and cultures; travel to partner and manufacturing sites as needed.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 5+ years of product development experience, preferably with AOC/transceivers.
- Deep technical expertise in hardware and/or software engineering for optical product development.
- Experience with high-precision connector/interconnect build, manufacturing, and testing.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analytics tools.
- Proven problem-solving ability and effective teamwork across functions and sites.
- Proficiency in spoken Chinese and both written and spoken English.
Nice-to-have:
- Software programming experience, especially Linux and Python.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optoelectronic Science and Technology, Optical Information Science and Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
