Senior Product Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Analog Mixed Signal Business Unit in a hybrid role based in San Jose to lead product engineering from concept to volume production. The role owns test and qualification planning, reliability assessment, yield improvement, and cross-functional coordination with Design, Test, Applications, Failure Analysis, and Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include product lifecycle ownership, test and qualification planning, and production quality and yield management.
- Own product development from concept through production release and end-of-life support.
- Define ATE test plans, qualification criteria, and manufacturing test strategies.
- Lead JEDEC/AEC qualification and reliability testing to meet customer and industry standards.
- Perform temperature/voltage/process characterization and set production limits.
- Monitor production yield and quality using statistical tools; drive improvements and report KPIs.
- Support first-silicon debug, failure analysis, and real-time customer technical issues.
- Manage product BOM release and maintenance; handle supplier and customer excursions.
- Optimize disposition limits (PAT, SYL, SBL, SPC) to balance quality and yield.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, work authorization, and personal attributes.
- Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; the employer will not sponsor visas for this position.
- 5+ years of product engineering experience with a strong analog circuit background.
- Experience with mixed-signal testing and ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne J750, Advantest 93K).
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment and bench characterization tools (DC supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and reliability/stress testing.
- Proficiency with statistical and yield-analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Spotfire) and data-driven troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective team player in fast-paced environments.
- Nice-to-have: semiconductor failure analysis experience and qualification hardware/software development experience.
