Senior Product Applications Engineer

Role Summary

Lead development of application tools, reference hardware, and validation methods that help customers integrate Analog Devices products into their systems. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across engineering, marketing, and sales to bring products to market.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical solutions and materials that accelerate customer adoption and ensure product fitness for target markets.

  • Apply system-level expertise to solve complex integration and optimization challenges.
  • Lead development of application tools, reference boards, and demonstration software.
  • Design and execute product validation and qualification testing across application environments.
  • Resolve complex technical issues for strategic customers and provide hands-on support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales) to support product introductions and roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Analyze competitor products and produce comparison data to inform product positioning.
  • Support market-specific qualification and validation activities.
  • Travel to customers or sites as required (approximately 10%).

  • Ability to evaluate competitors and provide actionable technical and strategic insights.
  • Excellent technical communication skills for documentation, presentations, and customer interactions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
