Senior/Principal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification efforts for complex SoC projects, owning verification strategy, environment architecture, and sign-off criteria. Collaborate with design, architecture, and formal teams to ensure functional correctness and performance.
Position is based in Hyderabad and includes technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities within the verification team.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification, developing testbenches and assertions, debugging, and driving coverage closure.
- Define verification strategies and create verification plans for block, subsystem, and SoC levels.
- Develop and execute UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments, UVCs, scoreboards, checkers, and reference models.
- Create constrained-random, directed, and scenario-based tests; integrate third-party VIPs and custom verification IPs.
- Write SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and collaborate with formal verification teams for property development and closure.
- Analyze simulation failures and lead root-cause debugging across multiple IPs and subsystems.
- Define and track functional, code, assertion, and cross-coverage; drive closure and provide sign-off recommendations.
- Lead end-to-end SoC verification including interconnect, cache coherency, memory subsystem, boot/reset validation, low-power, and performance/stress testing.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, participate in hiring and technical interviews, and drive verification process improvements.

- Must-have: Proven ability to debug complex RTL/testbench interactions and drive verification closure using coverage metrics.
- Must-have: Experience in SoC-level verification areas: interconnects, cache coherency, memory subsystems, boot/reset, low-power, and performance testing.
- Must-have: Technical leadership and mentoring experience; ability to guide teams and participate in hiring.
- Nice-to-have: Experience integrating third-party VIPs and custom verification IPs; familiarity with performance and stress testing tools.
