Senior Principal Program Manager
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex semiconductor design programs focused on optical subsystems and integrated component platforms. Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to drive schedule, quality, and business outcomes across cross-functional development efforts.
Operate in a highly visible role providing program leadership, risk management, and executive-level status and alignment from project inception through NPI.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Accountable for planning, execution, and delivery of complex silicon/optics programs. Key duties include:
- Own end-to-end program delivery: initiation, strategic planning, tracking, and execution.
- Lead design engineering program management of subsystems for customer solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to define requirements, validation strategies, and customer support plans.
- Drive functional teams through debug, issue resolution, and validation to meet milestones.
- Monitor schedule, quality, and cost; maintain program transparency and reporting to stakeholders.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues to drive resolution.
- Interface with the corporate program management office and regularly brief senior executives and technical leaders.
Requirements

- Significant industry experience at a senior level; proven record of delivering complex semiconductor programs.
- Minimum of 8 years of project/program management experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent development efforts and deliver silicon subsystems and final client products.
- Strong leadership, organizational, time-management, and stakeholder-communication skills, including executive-level communication.
- Proven risk identification, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams; familiarity with NPI processes.
- Nice-to-have: domain experience with optical components, silicon photonics, high-speed analog/RF amplifiers, controller ASICs, embedded firmware, or DSPs; experience with hyperscaler/cloud data center customers.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is stated. Master's or PhD is listed as a plus; the posting also gives experience-based equivalencies: preferred 15+ years industry experience overall (or 10+ years with a Master’s, or 8+ years with a PhD).
