Senior Principal Product Manager - Digital and Mixed Signal Verification Solutions
Role Summary
Drive product and business growth for Cadence digital and mixed-signal verification solutions. Own customer-facing strategy, market development, and go-to-market execution while coordinating Sales, Applications Engineering, and R&D.
Work with strategic accounts to identify technical and commercial pain points, shape product direction and packaging, and accelerate adoption from evaluation to enterprise deployment. Role is based in San Jose or Austin.
Experience Level
Senior β expects experienced candidates. The posting requests 10+ years in the electronic design environment and 7+ years in product management, technical product marketing, solutions strategy, or customer-facing business development roles.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional execution.
- Define product strategy, roadmap, and commercial packaging for digital and mixed-signal verification solutions.
- Engage strategic accounts to uncover technical and business challenges and translate them into product requirements and offers.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Applications Engineering, R&D, finance, and procurement to drive adoption, expansion, and revenue.
- Develop customer-facing value propositions, messaging, and field enablement materials.
- Conduct executive-level customer conversations and influence roadmap and procurement decisions.
- Support the full customer lifecycle: discovery, evaluation, procurement, deployment, and expansion.
- Define market segmentation and partner motions for regulated markets (aerospace/defense, automotive, industrial, medical).
- Measure and report outcomes tied to pipeline growth, bookings, adoption, and retention.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of essential and preferred qualifications.
- Deep technical understanding of digital and mixed-signal verification flows, including hardware-based verification and agentic verification.
- Proven ability to quantify customer business and technical challenges and convert them into product requirements and commercial offers.
- Demonstrated experience leading executive-level customer conversations and aligning internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Knowledge of AI/ML verification methods and how they apply to EDA/verification workflows.
- Experience across the customer lifecycle and familiarity with enterprise sales, services/SOW motions, and working with engineering, finance, and procurement.
- Results-driven with a track record of prioritization and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Education Requirements
MS or BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. MBA is listed as a plus.
