Senior Principal Product Manager - Digital and Mixed-signal Verification Solutions
Role Summary
Lead product and business growth for Cadence digital and mixed-signal verification solutions. Own customer-facing product strategy, market development, and go-to-market execution to convert evaluations into enterprise-scale deployments.
Partner with strategic accounts to uncover technical and commercial pain points, shape product direction and packaging, and coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, Applications Engineering, R&D) to deliver measurable customer outcomes.
Experience Level
Senior. The role expects significant industry experience: typically 10+ years in the electronic design environment and 7+ years in product management, technical product marketing, solutions strategy, or similar customer-facing business development roles supporting complex enterprise software/EDA portfolios.
Responsibilities
Drive strategy, market adoption, and cross-functional execution for verification solutions.
- Define product strategy, market segmentation, and go-to-market plans for digital and mixed-signal verification offerings.
- Engage strategic customers to identify and quantify technical and business challenges; translate them into product requirements and commercial offers.
- Own value propositions, product packaging, and positioning versus competitive alternatives and emerging needs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Applications Engineering, Services, and R&D to execute customer plans and accelerate adoption and expansion.
- Enable field teams with customer-ready messaging, demos, and technical alignment to support evaluations and procurement.
- Drive executive-level customer conversations and align internal stakeholders to measurable outcomes (pipeline, bookings, adoption, retention).
- Account for industry-specific requirements (aerospace/defense, automotive, industrial, medical devices) in segmentation, partnerships, and product readiness.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience to succeed in this role.
- Deep technical understanding of digital and mixed-signal verification flows, including hardware-based verification and agentic verification.
- Knowledge of AI/ML verification methods and related EDA technology.
- Proven ability to identify and quantify customer challenges and translate them into product requirements and commercial offers.
- Demonstrated experience leading executive-level (VP/C‑level) customer conversations and influencing roadmap decisions.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills; experience coordinating Sales, AE, services, finance, and engineering stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales lifecycles, services/SOW motions, and large-scale deployments.
- Experience applying product strategy to regulated markets (aerospace/defense, automotive, medical, industrial) is highly desirable.
- Results-driven with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes (pipeline growth, bookings, adoption, retention).

Education Requirements
MS or BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering. MBA is a plus.
