Senior Principal Product Engineer

Role Summary

Lead product engineering for Arm SoC products to ensure manufacturability, test readiness and high-volume manufacturing (HVM) across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases. Collaborate with Architecture, SoC design, validation, test, system software, quality, foundries and OSATs to deliver NPI and drive yield, reliability and performance for advanced nodes and packaging (including 2.5D/3DIC and sub-3nm).

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 16 years of product engineering experience (manufacturing test, yield improvement, silicon characterization and reliability qualification).

Responsibilities

The role owns manufacturability and manufacturing test flows from pre‑silicon readiness through post‑silicon bring‑up and HVM.

• Coordinate cross‑functionally with architecture, design, packaging, software, silicon validation, test and quality teams to meet product requirements.
• Own pre‑ and post‑silicon operations and manufacturing flow across ATE and SLT for multiple products.
• Serve as primary contact for SoC manufacturing operations with foundries, OSATs and ASIC vendors; drive NPI/HVM readiness and participate in manufacturing facility audits.
• Lead post‑silicon test flow, yield improvement, reliability qualification, PVTF characterization and electrical failure analysis on ATE/SLT.
• Drive ATE-to-system correlation including sensor correlation, VF across PVT, Vmin/Fmax characterization and fusing methodologies.
• Participate in partner meetings and international travel (up to 20%).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for delivering manufacturing readiness and post-silicon operations.

• Minimum 16 years of experience in product engineering covering manufacturing test, yield improvement, silicon characterization and reliability qualification.
• Existing relationships and experience working with foundries, OSATs and ASIC vendor ecosystem.
• Broad expertise in ATE and SLT test concepts (Scan, BIST, sensors, functional test on ATE and bare metal, application on SLT) and correlation methodologies.
• Strong understanding of device physics, digital/mixed‑signal design, foundry and assembly processes, and CPU/GPU/SoC power and performance dependencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative, and ability to engage cross‑functional collaborators.
• No relocation package available for this role.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (as stated in the posting).
