Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage process transfers to external foundries and ensure equivalent process performance at the foundry.
- Conduct process capability analysis, failure-mode analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Review process and product yield, design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE), and implement yield-improvement measures.
- Lead root-cause investigations (8D) and drive corrective and preventive actions for excursions and low-yield conditions.
- Collaborate with product engineers to align product sensitivities, tailor design/test sensitivities, and perform product-specific process tuning.
- Lead cross-functional teams on continuous process improvement and support ramp-up to volume production.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Proven background in process integration, yield engineering, or wafer fabrication in a semiconductor environment.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process flows, process optimization, and process control techniques.
- Proficiency with SPC, DOE, FMEA, and process-capability analysis.
- Experience leading structured root-cause analysis (8D, Fishbone) and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and data analysis tools for process monitoring and improvement.
- Good communication and presentation skills; effective in cross-functional teams and project leadership.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with 0.35Β΅m CMOS process nodes and advanced node wafer fabrication.
