Senior/Principal Engineer, NAND Product Engineering

Role Summary

Work directly with the NAND Product Development Team Leader to drive new product development and integrate AI solutions into engineering workflows. Represent the NAND engineering team across business units, fabrication, test, supply chain, and system design to deliver on-time product qualifications from silicon to system.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering execution and cross-functional coordination to deliver NAND component solutions and product qualifications on schedule. Key duties include:

  • Negotiate and align NAND requirements with business units and SSD development leads; translate requirements into qualification specifications.
  • Develop AI-driven workflows to automate and augment data extraction and analysis supporting NAND specifications.
  • Integrate NAND Product Engineering efforts with Technology Development and Design Engineering for system integration.
  • Collaborate with Business Units, Supply Chain, Fabrication, Assembly, Test, and Quality teams to enable execution.
  • Create AI-embedded workflows and a program management system to track priorities, actions, and qualification progress.
  • Represent Product Engineering in development reviews, lead cross-functional meetings, and coordinate plans and changes.
  • Organize NAND capability data reviews and guide resolution of complex NAND–system interaction issues.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience developing agentic solutions using industry-standard models and development platforms (for example: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
  • Practical experience with NAND design/device, validation, test flows, reliability, and failure analysis; interest in system product enablement and media/architecture topics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a growth mindset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills; experience leading cross-functional global engineering teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment and drive engineering execution to meet time-to-market goals.

Education Requirements

Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related discipline. Transcript should document coursework in AI model fundamentals, data science, and advanced coding skills.
