Senior Post-Silicon Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Chandler Post-Silicon Validation team to validate and characterize Arm SoC processors at the system level. The role focuses on developing system-level stress workloads, implementing test plans, debugging system and silicon issues, and enabling customer product ramp.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities are system-level validation, debugging, and test development for next-generation Arm processors.
- Develop and run system-level stress workloads on Linux and bare-metal environments.
- Create and implement test plans to characterize silicon at the system level.
- Collaborate with the post-silicon validation team to reuse and extend test content for characterization.
- Debug and resolve system and silicon issues; perform root-cause analysis.
- Support customer silicon bring-up and product ramp through characterization and validation activities.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role.
- Experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
- Strong software engineering skills: C/C++, ARM assembly, Python, and scripting languages.
- Solid understanding of silicon process technology with respect to power and performance.
- Proven debugging skills for system and silicon issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and advanced debug techniques.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-team work and customer interactions.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) validation.
- Experience with PCIe, CLX, UCIe, and DDR interfaces.
- Experience correlating system-level test results with manufacturing/test data.
- Strong time-management skills and demonstrated verbal and written communication.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field).
