Senior PM, Project/Program Management

Role Summary

The Senior Project Manager will own a portfolio of complex engineering and quality projects within the Test Technology and Systems PMO, working closely with Quality, Optimization and Excellence Engineering Leads and cross-functional teams to deliver scope, timelines, and measurable outcomes.

Experience Level

Senior β€” minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Accountable for planning, execution, reporting, and risk management of assigned QOET projects.

  • Independently manage a portfolio of complex or strategic projects, defining scope, objectives, success metrics, and resource needs.
  • Facilitate detailed project planning and monitor progress against plans; identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues; escalate critical items to PMO leadership when required.
  • Drive accountability for deliverables and milestones across Engineering Leads and cross-functional teams (IT, Manufacturing, Planning).
  • Prepare and deliver timely project status reports and communications to stakeholders and PMO leadership.
  • Resolve project roadblocks and provide guidance to junior PMs; champion PMO processes, templates, and tools.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for effective performance in the role.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience, preferably within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, with demonstrated risk management and issue resolution.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and common project management software; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field is required. PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
