Role Summary

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of high-performance digital IPs for the RF data converter sub-system at Advanced Micro Devices. This role involves working with an innovative team utilizing advanced FinFET CMOS processes to address complex engineering challenges.

Experience Level

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in digital design and verification, particularly in complex processor architecture. Candidates should exhibit proficiency in analytical skills, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver synthesis flows.
  • Create and signoff on static timing analysis (STA) processes.
  • Work on physical implementation waiver development.
  • Collaborate with front-end, place & route, and silicon validation teams to address various technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain timing constraints.
  • Interface with the analog team to specify digital/analog interfacing needs.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a proactive problem-solving attitude and experience collaborating on technical issues. Familiarity with synthesis, timing constraints, RTL to GDSII flows, and advanced technology nodes is essential. Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., TCL, Perl/Python) and tools such as Vivado and Virtuoso is preferred.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
