Senior PA Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and develop high-efficiency, high-linearity cellular power amplifiers (PAs) and RF front-end modules for 5G NR and 6G smartphones. The role spans PA architecture definition through die integration, simulation, measurement, and driving designs into high-volume manufacturing.
Collaborate with filter, packaging and systems teams to optimize module-level performance and present results to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop PAs targeting high linearity, wide modulation bandwidth, high power and high efficiency using GaAs HBT technologies.
- Lead integration of PA dies into multi-chip modules (MCM), optimizing for size, cost and thermal performance.
- Perform 3D electromagnetic simulations (HFSS) and circuit-level simulations (ADS) and ensure model-to-measurement correlation.
- Develop and execute RF measurements and characterization to validate designs.
- Collaborate with SAW/BAW filter, packaging and systems engineers to optimize top-level module performance.
- Document and present technical results to internal teams and external customers; drive designs to manufacturable solutions.

Must-have: Strong understanding of RF fundamentals (S-parameters, impedance matching, stability, linearity).
- Extensive experience in RF circuit design and simulation using Keysight ADS, HFSS, and Cadence.
- Proven experience in RF measurements and characterization.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and strong technical communication/presentation skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with GaAs HBT PA design, MCM integration, and thermal/size/cost optimization.
Education Requirements
Minimum of an MSEE with at least 3 years of industry experience, or a Ph.D. degree.
